lucknow-Sarthak Foundation, which provides free of cost education to around 1000 children living in slums and in villages of Lucknow, conducted an event called Fly HigHER at Renaissance, Lucknow on 29th February. The Foundation focusses a lot on girls education. To promote gender equality, it conducted this kite flying event with the central theme as ‘GENDER’.

The children and guests made kites with messages around girls and equality. Everyone then flew kites together, reliving childhood memories. There were other fun elements like slum children playing high note dhols, selfie booth portraying equality, cute handmade merchandise and paintings by children.

The event was attended by prominent people like Mr. V.P.Sahi,Ms. Juhie Singh, Mr. Kiron Chopra, Ms. Kavita Nigam, Ms. Meenakshi Jain, Mr. Sarvesh Goyal, Ms. Simran Sahni, Dr. Arpita Anand and many more.
